Administrative Assistant

Position Purpose & Focus

The Administrative Assistant acts as the first point of contact for PEP Creative and is responsible in providing a stellar client experience through telephone and onsite interaction. Supports the office in all administrative and office tasks to ensure the office runs smoothly. Will support human resources and payroll with administrative tasks as needed.


  • Provide 100% stellar customer service for onsite customers.
  • Seeking out and accomplishing tasks for the support of others.
  • Incoming and outbound deliveries to arrive and be delivered accurately and time.
  • Be a professional and polite PEP Creative brand ambassador.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate/department as well as handle messages as needed for employees and managers.
  • Helps with Quick Orders and Pick Up’s / Returns from clients
  • Maintains the daily Manager On Duty schedule for sales calls
  • Responds to inquiries as needed from in person and by telephone and handles accordingly.
  • Greets and directs visitors to the appropriate person or department.
  • Receives, sorts and forwards incoming mail and packages
  • Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.).
  • Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies.
  • Develops and maintains office forms and procedures and assists with administrative tasks.
  • Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating.
  • Inputs employee hours into payroll system for processing.
  • Provides additional support on projects as needed from various departments.
  • Expected to understand safety procedures and tools for the department
  • Other essential duties as assigned.

Qualifications | Competencies | Success Factors

  • Previous office/clerical work experience
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite


  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Associate’s Degree preferred.


      • 1 + years in an office/clerical environment
      • 1 + years receptionist experience
