The most unique thing I did for a PEP event was: There have been too many unique situations but one that stands out is when the event was about to begin–ten minutes to doors (isn’t this when everything happens?) I started my last-minute check on all the vendors. It was a big Animal Theme Party. We had several animals at this party used as education as well collecting donations for animal organizations. The adorable baby white tiger cubs that we flew in from Florida had just done their “business” on the AstroTurf in the Welcome Tent. The odor of their business was like nothing I had ever experienced in my life. For some event planner miracle, I luckily had several bottles of Febreze in my car. Deodorizing the tent was a unique experience. The clients walked in right after I literally Febrezed the crappy smell away from my event. The show went on and nobody ever knew!

My favorite thing to do on my PEP events is: Watch the face of the guests as they walk in to the room where we have created magic. It’s written on their faces when their jaw drops and smiles start. It warms my heart.

Caitlyn Poppert

The most unique thing I did for a PEP event was: Turning a Downtown hotel pool deck into a Retro Palm Springs Soiree…(11) 5’ tall foam letters spelling out clients name along the pools edge, custom 8’ x 8’ real tropical foliage wall, and topping it off with synchronized swimmers – it was FAB!

My favorite thing to do on my PEP events is: Designing the overall look of an event top to bottom.

The most unique thing I did for a PEP event was: Build custom 10’ octopus tentacles and a 12’ whale tail and ship them across country to Boston.

My favorite thing to do on my PEP events is: Have fun with my clients and develop ideas together. It’s better if we both enjoy the process-it’s not just a job or a single event, it’s a partnership and a team.

Cecilia Forsyth

The most unique thing I did for a PEP event was: I once was part of our entertainment cast for the evening, and dressed up as a Seahorse and danced in front of a group of 1000 people.

My favorite thing to do on my PEP events is: Using interactive and immersive entertainment that allow guests to really feel like they are experiencing a world outside of their everyday routine. For décor I love centerpieces with a lot of different elements, textures and votives. I love for all my tables to have variation to them and not be exactly the same.

Carla DeSantis

John Berry

The most unique thing I did for a PEP event was: Taught myself how to mix music and created a custom, 10-minute song for a choreographed, feature performance at one of my events.

My favorite thing to do on my PEP events is: Work! I love jumping-in and getting my hands dirty. I really enjoy playing with fabric and lighting and love stylizing focal vignettes and engaging moments for photo ops. I also have a lot of fun creating renderings of future builds and scenes and then getting to see the before/after of what I design, once it comes to life!

Steffanie Badgett

The most unique thing I did for a PEP event was: Create custom art installations

My favorite thing to do on my PEP events is: Watch guests react to the environment we have created for them to enjoy. Hearing their ohhs, and ahhs as they walk into the space and knowing all the hard work and dedication we have put into it has paid off
