WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE RENTAL ITEM AT PEP, AND WHY?

I am all about the FLOWERS! I enjoy the uniqueness to each arrangement as well as the perfect touch that it makes on an event. The creativity is endless!

WHAT’S THE HARDEST THING ABOUT EVENT PRODUCTION?

Putting your pride aside to give a client what they want vs what you think might be best regarding design. At the end of the day, you need to provide what they want even though you think it might look better a different way.

TELL US ABOUT THE MOST UNIQUE EVENT THEME YOU’VE EVER WORKED ON.

I got to produce an event and Keith Urban was the entertainment. That was pretty memorable! Hard to beat that!

If it was your birthday party, what would the theme be, and what color palette and PEP props/decor would you use?
A neon disco party for sure! Love the music, dancing and fun colors. I would use our shimmer panels & neon sign for a fun photo op, funky colorful floral on bright table linens, velvet lounges groupings and of course hanging disco balls!

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN WHEN NOT WORKING?

Spend time with my family, workout, cook and travel when we can.

TELL US YOUR BACKGROUND – WHAT’S YOUR STORY ABOUT GETTING INTO EVENTS, AND HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE INDUSTRY & AT PEP?

I graduated from Arizona State University in 2009 with a degree in Design and Business, with the intention of getting more of a design-related job. However, I had a family friend working in event catering, which I found intriguing. I was able to get a position at that company starting as an office manager in 2010. After about 6 months, I transitioned into the sales side and that’s really where it all started. I worked for that catering company in Phoenix for two and half years. I came out to San Diego in 2012, wanting to start a new chapter in a new place and transitioned into the production side of the event industry. I loved the culinary element, as food and cooking have always been a huge passion of mine, but I also loved the creative side of events. I started at PEP in 2015 and I have been designing and creating ever since! I have learned so much along the way and created so many amazing relationships with clients, coworkers, etc. So much changes in a decade…. Design trends, personal life, professional goals… and I am still learning and growing every day.
