WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE RENTAL ITEM AT PEP, AND WHY?
The “Carlie Bar” – its vertical wood slats and stunning light wood tone…its perfection!
IF IT WAS YOUR BIRTHDAY PARTY, WHAT WOULD THE THEME BE, AND WHAT COLOR PALETTE AND PEP PROPS/DECOR WOULD YOU USE?
I love Italy, so a full-blown tomato-and-pasta–inspired birthday brunch would be perfection! Picture Carlie Dining Tables arranged in a long row, topped with red gingham runners, vibrant red florals woven with tomatoes, and candles everywhere. The Carlie Bar would feature arched back bars overflowing with red florals and candlelight, while our white market cart—with a striped awning—serves as a delish gelato station! Sign me up!!
WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN WHEN NOT WORKING?
Corepower Yoga, Reading, Antique Shopping, Jewelry Hunting (it’s an obsession), Beach with my Dog “Pickles,” Brunching/Bar Hopping, Visiting with Fam/Friends.
TELL US ABOUT THE MOST UNIQUE EVENT THEME YOU’VE EVER WORKED ON.
I planned a graduation party for a future University of Oregon student and was given the delightful challenge of creating a “duck petting zoo.” Of course, these couldn’t be just any ducks—they had to be baby ducks, fluffy and yellow. Needless to say, it completely stole the show.
WHAT’S THE HARDEST THING ABOUT EVENT PRODUCTION?
Ensuring that the vision developed by the client and sales team is executed seamlessly on jobsite!
TELL US YOUR BACKGROUND – WHAT’S YOUR STORY ABOUT GETTING INTO EVENTS, AND HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE INDUSTRY & AT PEP?
I began my hospitality career in 2010 at country clubs, working as a Banquet Captain for five years. During that time, I gained hands-on experience in banquet setups, food service, and team management. In 2015, I transitioned into design and event production by joining PEP as an Event Manager. Over the past decade, I’ve taken on roles in Event Management and Sales Support, and I now lead the Event Management team.
