WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE RENTAL ITEM AT PEP, AND WHY?

I love incorporating our tailored tables because they can be wrapped in any fabric, allowing complete customization. They break up a sea of traditional dining rounds, add visual dimension, and introduce a unique design element that goes beyond standard table linens.

IF IT WAS YOUR BIRTHDAY PARTY, WHAT WOULD THE THEME BE, AND WHAT COLOR PALETTE AND PEP PROPS/DECOR WOULD YOU USE?

I wouldn’t choose a specific theme, but I’d love a palette of deep emeralds with pops of rusty orange. I’d incorporate our lush velvet linens, the Charlie sofa, the Del Mar canopies with emerald drape, and tons of different colored budvases scattering the space.

TELL US ABOUT THE MOST UNIQUE EVENT THEME YOU’VE EVER WORKED ON.

I designed a ‘Butterfly Effect’ theme. While it wasn’t the most unique concept on its own, I had so much fun finding creative ways to bring it to life by using our canopy trees covered with butterflies, layered string lights, and so much more. The result felt magical!

WHAT’S THE HARDEST THING ABOUT EVENT PRODUCTION?

I’d say the biggest challenge is balancing the client’s dream with reality. It’s not always feasible or safe to execute every spectacular idea. It’s all about finding creative solutions that still deliver a ‘wow’ moment.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN WHEN NOT WORKING?

I enjoy hanging with friends & family, my pup, feeding my sunset addiction, attending music events, and pilates.

TELL US YOUR BACKGROUND – WHAT’S YOUR STORY ABOUT GETTING INTO EVENTS, AND HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE INDUSTRY & AT PEP?

My freshman year roommate’s dad at college was the general manager for Park Hyatt Aviara. When she started explaining what exactly the hospitality major incorporated, I had no clue there was such a fun career path to take. From that moment, I chose to major in hospitality with an emphasis in meetings and events. I graduated from SDSU, and not long after I found my home here at PEP in March of 2022. I wouldn’t change a thing & I am beyond grateful for everyone who helped me get here!
