WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE RENTAL ITEM AT PEP, AND WHY?
I love our props like our tiki gods, giant adventure arch, and our gargoyles. All the stuff you don’t see every day.
IF IT WAS YOUR BIRTHDAY PARTY, WHAT WOULD THE THEME BE, AND WHAT COLOR PALETTE AND PEP PROPS/DECOR WOULD YOU USE?
I’d totally go for a fairy/fey theme. Lots of soft purples, greens, and silvers-very magical and whimsical. I’d load up on anything that gives “enchanted forest” vibes.
WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN WHEN NOT WORKING?
I play Dungeons & Dragons with my friends every week. As well as a lot of video games.
TELL US ABOUT THE MOST UNIQUE EVENT THEME YOU’VE EVER WORKED ON.
One of my favorite themes I saw was a medieval type of event that had these knight stilt walkers and dragon statues.
WHAT’S THE HARDEST THING ABOUT EVENT PRODUCTION?
I helped at one of our block parties once, and it really opened my eyes. So many moving parts! Seeing how everything came together in person was super cool.
TELL US YOUR BACKGROUND – WHAT’S YOUR STORY ABOUT GETTING INTO EVENTS, AND HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE INDUSTRY & AT PEP?
I’ve been at PEP since 2020, and I’ve been an accountant since 2019. When I moved back to California, PEP was one of the first places I interviewed at. While I was waiting in the lobby, those long lunar dragon dancer/costumes just casually walked by, and I thought, “Wow this place is super weird.” I loved it immediately. Now I get to bring my own quirkyness to the accounting world here, which feels like the perfect fit.
