WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE RENTAL ITEM AT PEP, AND WHY?

I really love the Edison Tables. They are unique and make a statement at any event. I like how versatile they are because you can style them in many ways to match a variety of themes, and they always add a little extra magic to the space.

IF IT WAS YOUR BIRTHDAY PARTY, WHAT WOULD THE THEME BE, AND WHAT COLOR PALETTE AND PEP PROPS/DECOR WOULD YOU USE?

My birthday party would be a Glowing Under the Sea theme. I would use a variety of blue shades with glowing elements and shimmering, metallic accents. I would include Star Highboys, the Shimmer Bar, Lapiz Drapery, Shades of Blue and Aqua Lighting, and of course our King Neptune Prop. Florals would be in purple and pink shades with metallic tropical foliage accents for a fun, vibrant underwater vibe.

TELL US ABOUT THE MOST UNIQUE EVENT THEME YOU’VE EVER WORKED ON.

I have had the opportunity to work on many types of events, but the ones I enjoy most are whimsical and playful themes. There is something fun about creating a space that feels imaginative and a little magical, where guests feel transported somewhere completely different.

WHAT’S THE HARDEST THING ABOUT EVENT PRODUCTION?

The hardest part is dealing with unpredictability and knowing how to adjust when things don’t go as planned. I enjoy thinking ahead and creating plans, but flexibility and quick problem-solving are always essential.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN WHEN NOT WORKING?

I love spending time with my family, going on adventures, and enjoying nature whenever I can. Whether it is hiking, spending time at the beach, or exploring new places, being outdoors is always refreshing.

TELL US YOUR BACKGROUND – WHAT’S YOUR STORY ABOUT GETTING INTO EVENTS, AND HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE INDUSTRY & AT PEP?

I started at PEP over ten years ago as a receptionist, and I quickly discovered my passion for Event Design and the company. I then moved into Event Management, where I enjoyed learning the details of production and logistics on-site. Later, as a Sales Assistant, I focused more on planning and design. Now as a Sales Manager, I get to combine my creativity and experience to help clients bring their visions to life in venues across San Diego and beyond. Every day is different, and that is what keeps me inspired.
