WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE RENTAL ITEM AT PEP, AND WHY?
I love the plant walls with twinkle lights. They are so lush and add magic to any space.
IF IT WAS YOUR BIRTHDAY PARTY, WHAT WOULD THE THEME BE, AND WHAT COLOR PALETTE AND PEP PROPS/DECOR WOULD YOU USE?
I would do golden garden party – the color palette would be warm yellows, oranges, magenta, and gold. For the bar I would use our classic bar surrounded with the wine barrel high top tables and wood beam arch with draping. I’d bring in a lot of foliage and have amber vases with lights.
TELL US YOUR BACKGROUND – WHAT’S YOUR STORY ABOUT GETTING INTO EVENTS, AND HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE INDUSTRY & AT PEP?
I started in the DMC industry and fell in love with events – but I knew DMC’s was not ideal for me long term. I joined PEP this year and have been loving working with a specialized inventory and close knit team. The design elements of events is my favorite part – It’s so fun to get creative and then find a practical way to make the design happen.
TELL US ABOUT THE MOST UNIQUE EVENT THEME YOU’VE EVER WORKED ON.
I designed a Moroccan Night themed event – it was so fun! Utilized a lot of draping, carpet, an fun lanterns.
WHAT’S THE HARDEST THING ABOUT EVENT PRODUCTION?
I’d say for me the hardest part is designing an event that doesn’t have any specific direction or theme – even a color palette is extremely helpful. Otherwise there’s just too many options and directions you can go in.
WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN WHEN NOT WORKING?
Enjoy San Diego’s abundance of nature, read, travel, garden, and cook.
