WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE RENTAL ITEM AT PEP, AND WHY?

IF IT WAS YOUR BIRTHDAY PARTY, WHAT WOULD THE THEME BE, AND WHAT COLOR PALETTE AND PEP PROPS/DECOR WOULD YOU USE?

For my birthday party, I’d recreate the theme I actually did for my most recent one! I used our teal velvet linen paired with ice pink Lamour napkins, white chairs, and floral arrangements in pinks, oranges, and other bright tones. I added pink and gold votives to tie everything together. I love the orange/pink/teal vibe for a birthday brunch — it feels fun, colorful, and so me!

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN WHEN NOT WORKING?

When I’m not working, I love teaching or taking Pilates, traveling whenever I can, trying new restaurants, and spending time with my family, friends, and my boyfriend. And of course, I’m always hanging out with my kitten, Enzo — he’s the cutest little troublemaker. I love staying active, exploring new places, and just enjoying life outside of work!

TELL US ABOUT THE MOST UNIQUE EVENT THEME YOU’VE EVER WORKED ON.

It’s hard to choose, but one of my favorites was a Western-themed event. I created centerpieces using cowboy hats filled with cactus and dried elements, which brought the theme to life in such a fun and authentic way.

WHAT’S THE HARDEST THING ABOUT EVENT PRODUCTION?

The hardest part is staying flexible when things inevitably change on-site. You can plan everything down to the tiniest detail, but being able to pivot quickly is what really makes the event come together.

TELL US YOUR BACKGROUND – WHAT’S YOUR STORY ABOUT GETTING INTO EVENTS, AND HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE INDUSTRY & AT PEP?

I graduated from the Hospitality & Tourism Management program at SDSU, where I fell in love with the events world through classes, internships, and real hands-on experience. After school, I knew I wanted to be in a fast-paced, creative environment — which led me to PEP. Since joining the team, I’ve grown my career working on everything from large-scale corporate events to detailed custom designs. It’s the perfect blend of creativity, logistics, and relationship-building, and I genuinely love what I do!
