WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE RENTAL ITEM AT PEP, AND WHY?

I really love our wall sets, especially the Ripple Wall. I like how dimensional and colorful it is.

IF IT WAS YOUR BIRTHDAY PARTY, WHAT WOULD THE THEME BE, AND WHAT COLOR PALETTE AND PEP PROPS/DECOR WOULD YOU USE?

I would do a 1920s Old Hollywood theme. I’d lean into a black, gold, and deep maroon palette and use our Champagne Wall and Presidential Marquee.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN WHEN NOT WORKING?

Outside of work, I love to run and paint. Living in San Diego, I definitely take advantage of running along the coast! As for painting, nothing beats coming home after a long day, putting on an audiobook, and losing myself in a painting.

TELL US ABOUT THE MOST UNIQUE EVENT THEME YOU’VE EVER WORKED ON.

A Midsummer theme! It is such a fun theme to design because it’s so whimsical and the opportunity to use a ton of florals.

WHAT’S THE HARDEST THING ABOUT EVENT PRODUCTION?

All the little things! There are so many moving pieces that go into an event, and I feel like missing even one small detail can set off a whole chain reaction. It’s definitely a job where the little things make a big difference.

TELL US YOUR BACKGROUND – WHAT’S YOUR STORY ABOUT GETTING INTO EVENTS, AND HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE INDUSTRY & AT PEP?

Before joining PEP, I worked more on the creative side of production and have been painting murals for the past six years. I really wanted to find a way to bring that creativity into the events world and help bring experiences to life. I’ve also been in the hospitality industry for about ten years, so PEP felt like a really natural combination of my creative background and my experience in hospitality.
