WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE RENTAL ITEM AT PEP, AND WHY?
I love every single bar we have. Almost all of them are interchangeable or customizable, they’re awesome to see incorporated at every unique event.
IF IT WAS YOUR BIRTHDAY PARTY, WHAT WOULD THE THEME BE, AND WHAT COLOR PALETTE AND PEP PROPS/DECOR WOULD YOU USE?
I’ve really been into the espresso brown shade lately, so that paired with hints of cream and sage would be my color palette. Using greenery and white florals all over with lots of ambiance lighting using our Ella Candle Holders would give it that sleek and elegant look.
WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN WHEN NOT WORKING?
Even though I’m a San Diego native, I love to play tourist. I’m always finding new workout studios and cool restaurants with my friends, as well as pop up thrift markets all over the city.
TELL US ABOUT THE MOST UNIQUE EVENT THEME YOU’VE EVER WORKED ON.
I once put together a western formal and although it’s not the most unique theme, the best part was hosting it at somebody’s real barn with live animals and finding a mechanical bull to rent for the guests!
WHAT’S THE HARDEST THING ABOUT EVENT PRODUCTION?
It’s learning to accept that not everything is within your control. Weather can mysteriously change, emergencies may happen, anything can go wrong despite the best planning, which can be challenging. As much as I love proving the impossible to be possible, there’s always that chance something could come your way and you have to be prepared for it!
TELL US YOUR BACKGROUND – WHAT’S YOUR STORY ABOUT GETTING INTO EVENTS, AND HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE INDUSTRY & AT PEP?
During my second year of college, I applied to be my sorority’s Director of Events on a whim. It was a very last second decision and completely outside of my comfort zone, and I had never planned or produced an event up until then. I then quickly realized how much I enjoyed bringing people together in creative ways and seeing everything you’ve worked hard for come to life!
I graduated from the University of Oregon in 2026 and have been with PEP since moving back to San Diego. I began as the front desk receptionist and quickly transitioned to an Event Producer just a month after. I couldn’t be happier to have joined such a hardworking team, and I’m so excited for the years to come with everyone.
